A devastating mid-air collision over Washington, D.C. on Wednesday night took the lives of 64 innocent airline passengers and three U.S. Army pilots—and yet, somehow, the real story might just be what happened after the crash. It took the Army three full days to release the name of one of the Black Hawk pilots, Capt. Rebecca Lobach, and in that time, something suspicious happened: her entire online presence was erased.
Why? What are they hiding?
A Tragic Crash, a Suspicious Cover-Up
The mid-air collision between a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter and a PSA/American Airlines passenger jet on its final approach to Reagan National Airport is one of the worst aviation disasters in recent U.S. history. The fact that every single passenger and crew member on the commercial flight was killed makes it all the more horrifying.
Two of the three Army pilots were identified quickly:
- Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28
- Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39
But when it came to Capt. Rebecca Lobach, the Army delayed her identification until Saturday, citing the family’s wishes. Meanwhile, Lobach’s entire social media footprint was scrubbed, along with her family members’ accounts.

They deleted Rebecca Lobach’s social media accounts before releasing her name. It wasn’t to grieve.

It is not just that Rebecca Lobach is gone from social media, both her sisters and parents were scrubbed as well. This sister had a LinkedIn and an X which you can see clearly on Google, but the pages are gone. Another sister has a Pinterest account that's been scrubbed as well.… pic.twitter.com/HTtR3GUcQW

Who Was Capt. Rebecca Lobach?
Here’s where things get interesting. Unlike the other two pilots, Lobach worked in the Biden White House as a military social aide—a prestigious position where select military officers assist at high-level government events, including state dinners and VIP visits. A photo has surfaced of her standing in the White House press briefing room just last year.
She also had only 450 flight hours, which raises serious questions about whether she was qualified for the mission. The Black Hawk was conducting a “continuity of government” training flight—essentially, a classified exercise related to government operations in times of crisis. That’s not exactly the kind of mission you send a relatively inexperienced pilot on, unless she was there for political reasons rather than her aviation skills.
What Are They Hiding?
The fact that her social media was erased before her name was released suggests that someone—whether in the Army or the Biden administration—wanted to control the narrative before the public could start digging. This is the same government that lectures us about “transparency” while running interference on yet another potential scandal.
Was this crash pilot error? Was Lobach flying when the collision occurred? Did her White House connections fast-track her into a role she wasn’t ready for?
The American people deserve answers, not another cover-up.
