Marjorie Taylor Greene Gearing Up for Next Political Career Move

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) hasn’t said the magic words—yet—but behind closed doors, the buzz is getting louder: she’s seriously considering a 2026 Senate run. And if Governor Brian Kemp decides to sit this one out, insiders say the field could crack wide open—and Greene is more than ready to charge through it.

According to sources close to the congresswoman, Greene believes she could “crush” the GOP primary if Kemp doesn’t run. And frankly, they might be right. Love her or hate her, Greene commands one of the most loyal grassroots bases in the country and remains one of President Donald Trump’s fiercest defenders in Congress. She’s not just a lightning rod—she’s a full-blown political storm, and in a GOP primary, that kind of energy counts.

Governor Kemp, currently term-limited, is still weighing his options. But his decision is effectively freezing the Republican field. One GOP insider told the Daily Caller that if Kemp jumps in, he clears the lane. If he stays out, Greene becomes the race’s defining factor. And let’s not forget: Kemp and Trump have had their tensions. Greene, on the other hand, has Trump’s ear—and potentially his endorsement.

And don’t underestimate that. Trump may not have made any endorsements yet, but insiders suggest it’s highly unlikely he’d back someone running against Greene. That alone could deter half the field before a single vote is cast.

Attorney General Chris Carr has already entered the race, pitching a safe, polished campaign focused on public safety, job growth, and the Constitution. He’s the establishment favorite—polished, predictable, and vanilla. Greene, by contrast, is a fire-breather with a national profile, a massive online fundraising base, and the ability to dominate headlines from day one.

On the Democrat side, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and State Senator Jason Esteves are battling it out, but it’s expected that incumbent Senator Jon Ossoff might pivot to this race—particularly if Democrats want to hold onto power in a rapidly shifting Georgia.

Still, Greene’s entrance would change everything. One GOP strategist told Daily Caller, “If I were another member of Congress looking at this race, I wouldn’t be fired up about running against her.”

In other words, she’d clear the field—just like Trump did in 2024. Get ready, Georgia. If Greene runs, it won’t be a campaign—it’ll be a MAGA revolution.
