If there’s one thing the radical left is good at, it’s crossing the line. Vice President JD Vance found that out firsthand when a group of “Slava Ukraini” protesters decided it would be a great idea to harass him while he was out for a walk with his three-year-old daughter.
These so-called “activists” weren’t confronting Vance at a press conference or debating him in a public forum. No, they chose to follow him and his toddler through the streets, yelling and creating a scene, to the point where his little girl became “increasingly anxious and scared.”
Vance, being the stand-up guy he is, actually stopped and engaged with them—hoping that a brief conversation might be enough to get them to leave his daughter alone. And while he said most of them behaved respectfully, he also made it clear what kind of people chase a child as part of a political stunt: “a s*** person.”
Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of “Slava Ukraini” protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared.
I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them…

And he’s absolutely right.
Imagine for a second if a group of Trump supporters had followed Kamala Harris or Pete Buttigieg through the streets while they were out with their families. The media would be having an absolute meltdown. CNN and MSNBC would be wall-to-wall with breathless coverage about “threats to democracy” and “far-right intimidation tactics.” But because Vance dares to question endless funding for Ukraine’s unwinnable war, it’s apparently fair game to stalk him and his three-year-old.
The protesters, waving Ukrainian flags and carrying signs attacking Vance for his stance on the war, were also spotted outside his Cincinnati home earlier in the day. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought we weren’t supposed to intimidate government officials at their homes? Oh wait—that rule only applies when leftists are the ones being protested. Just ask the Supreme Court justices who had their houses surrounded after Roe v. Wade was overturned.
The fact that Vance was even willing to talk to these people shows the kind of leader he is. He didn’t run. He didn’t call for their arrests. He confronted them like a man. But let’s not pretend this is just “political activism.” If you’re targeting a man with his child, you’re not an activist—you’re a coward.
It’s one thing to debate policy; it’s another to harass a father walking with his little girl. Shameful.
