That’s exactly what one eyewitness claims happened at Utah Valley University during the tragic death of Charlie Kirk. While most stood in shock and horror, according to one young woman who saw it all unfold, a segment of the crowd responded with applause.
“I just witnessed Charlie Kirk get ass***inated,” the woman says through tears in a video that’s now gone viral. “It was the most awful thing I’ve ever seen in my life…” She was clearly devastated, but what shook her the most wasn’t just the violence, it was the reaction from the crowd.
“The worst part of it all was that the liberals who were there were cheering,” she said, her voice cracking as she tried to make sense of what she witnessed.

Law enforcement has detained and released two persons of interest in the investigation, and as of now, the person responsible is still at large. Utah Governor Spencer Cox called it what it is: a politically motivated act. President Trump echoed that from the Oval Office, calling it a “dark moment for America” and warning about the rising tide of hatred against conservatives.
