Here we go again. Another bombshell scandal, another round of government stalling, and—shocker—another “missing” pile of documents that just happened to disappear. This time, it’s the long-awaited Epstein files, and according to Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), Americans should prepare to be lied to.
In an interview with Benny Johnson, Burchett didn’t hold back, making it clear that any so-called “release” of Epstein-related documents will be nothing more than a heavily doctored, watered-down, elite-protecting joke. The real records? Burchett thinks they’ve been tampered with—or conveniently destroyed.
“I don’t think it exists anymore,” Burchett told Johnson. “I think they’ve doctored it, and we shouldn’t trust what comes out. I just think they delayed it, and there was nothing.”

This is the kind of thing that makes people lose every ounce of faith in their government. For years, we’ve been waiting for real accountability. Who was on Epstein’s client list? Which powerful figures were flying to that island? And why has every effort to uncover the truth been met with obstruction, delays, and secrecy? Now, Burchett is essentially confirming what many of us already suspected: the deep state has no interest in exposing its own corruption.
Then there’s Attorney General Pam Bondi, who made the mistake of claiming that the documents were “sitting on my desk.” Bad move. Now, she’s backpedaling faster than a politician caught in a scandal, admitting that the FBI misled her and that the SDNY (Southern District of New York) was actually hoarding thousands of pages of Epstein files. This stinks to high heaven.
And let’s not forget the convenient timing of everything. Just like with the JFK files, the UFO revelations, and the RFK assassination details, the Epstein records seem to be locked away in some government warehouse like something out of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Burchett isn’t buying it, and neither should we.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) also weighed in, admitting she has little confidence that the so-called “client list” will be made public. She’s pushing for transparency, but ultimately, the power to declassify the documents rests with—drumroll please—the same corrupt institutions that have been covering this up for years.
So, what’s next? More excuses. More redacted pages. More powerful people walking free while the American people are spoon-fed half-truths. We’re supposed to believe that Epstein—a man with ties to some of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful figures—was just another isolated criminal, and that his connections were meaningless. Right.
The truth is simple: If these files really saw the light of day, there would be panic in Washington, Hollywood, and beyond. And that’s exactly why we’ll probably never see them.
