President Trump Invokes EMERGENCY POWERS, Gets Water ‘Turned On’ in California

President Trump’s first week back in office has been nothing short of remarkable, and Monday night’s announcement may take the cake. Trump revealed on Truth Social that he had used his executive authority to send the U.S. military into California to fix the state’s man-made water crisis and get the water flowing again.

Trump’s post declared: “The United States Military just entered the Great State of California and, under Emergency Powers, TURNED ON THE WATER flowing abundantly from the Pacific Northwest, and beyond. The days of putting a Fake Environmental argument, over the PEOPLE, are OVER. Enjoy the water, California!!!”

For years, California’s Democrat leadership has prioritized radical environmental policies, including diverting billions of gallons of water into the Pacific to protect a small fish, the delta smelt, rather than supplying water to residents and farmers. The result? Drought, dry hydrants during wildfires, and widespread devastation—all completely avoidable.

President Trump’s actions are a classic example of his outside-the-box thinking: simple, logical solutions that no one else dares to attempt. California created a crisis by diverting its water, and Trump’s solution was straightforward—reopen the valves and pumps, even if it means sending in the military to override local authorities.

This move follows Trump’s recent executive order empowering federal and state officials to prioritize water delivery to Southern California, even if it means clashing with environmental policies or local officials. The order also directed agencies to maximize water resources for high-need communities, including those devastated by wildfires.

Predictably, California’s Democrat-run Department of Water Resources has already dismissed Trump’s claims, alleging that the military did not enter the state or redirect the water supply. But many Californians aren’t buying it. Trump’s supporters are celebrating the decisive action, pointing out that it mirrors his efforts during his first term to override similar nonsense policies.

The facts speak for themselves. California’s water crisis has never been about resources—it’s been about leadership. As Trump said during a recent visit to fire-damaged areas: “You’re talking about unlimited water coming from the Pacific Northwest… but they refuse to let it flow because of a little fish.”

While California Democrats argue over environmental priorities, Trump is delivering solutions that actually benefit people. His actions are proof that when common sense meets strong leadership, even decades of mismanagement can be reversed.

It’s about time someone fought for the people of California, and President Trump is showing the nation what real leadership looks like—again.
