Violence and intimidation against conservative voices have been ramping up for years, and now we’ve got yet another close call that should make every so called journalist who shrugs this stuff off take a hard look in the mirror. Podcaster Tim Pool, who has hosted countless pro Trump guests and built one of the most influential independent platforms on the right, announced that a gunman opened fire near his property Friday night. This wasn’t some online threat, some deranged tweet, or another round of swatting, which he’s already endured more than most. This was an actual drive up and shoot incident.
Last night a vehicle approached our property and opened fire.
No one was hurt.
Our security team is reviewing the incident and will be relaying the report to appropriate law enforcement
This is the price we pay for speaking out against evil.

According to The Independent, Pool said a car approached his property and “opened fire.” Thankfully no one was hurt. His security team is reviewing the footage and preparing a report for law enforcement. In a follow up post, Pool said his first instinct was that someone might be trying to scare him, but he also admitted that the presence of a security gate and armed guards may have prevented something much worse. That’s where we’re at now. Commentators need armed security to do their jobs, while the media pretends it’s conservatives who are dangerous.
Pool didn’t give details about the location, though his profile lists Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. What we do know is that this wasn’t out of nowhere. He’s been targeted repeatedly for years. Mediaite reported that his studio has been swatted at least eight times in the last couple of years. Eight. He told Candace Owens that it started January 6 after hosting Marjorie Taylor Greene. They were filming live when the studio door burst open and police swept the room. At first nobody even knew what was happening. Then it happened again a week later. And again. And again. Eventually, the harassment even spread to his private residence.
Swatting isn’t a prank. It’s attempted murder by proxy. You call in fake claims and hope that police storm the place with guns drawn. Combine that with someone now firing shots from a vehicle and the picture becomes crystal clear. There is a coordinated, escalating campaign to silence people who challenge the left’s narratives. And whenever someone like Pool gets attacked, the same media that obsesses over “right wing threats” suddenly gets very quiet.

Pool will keep doing his shows. He’s not the type to fold. But it should alarm every normal American that this is what it costs to speak freely in 2025. The people preaching tolerance have made political violence part of their toolkit, and pretending otherwise won’t make it go away.
