Oh, here we go again. Another round of self-important athletes thinking they’re making some kind of brave political statement by refusing to visit President Trump’s White House. This time, it’s the Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off their Super Bowl 59 win, deciding they’re too good to meet the greatest president in modern American history. And the response from actual Americans? A resounding Go f**k yourselves, Eagles.
This isn’t new. The NFL has been a breeding ground for virtue-signaling nonsense for years now. From kneeling during the anthem to pushing every woke cause imaginable, these guys never miss an opportunity to bite the hand that feeds them. And let’s be real—who’s funding these massive stadiums? Oh, that’s right, the taxpayers. The hardworking Americans these millionaires love to look down on. Maybe if these players had to pay for their own stadiums instead of living off government subsidies, they’d show a little more respect to the people who make their lavish lifestyles possible.
Megyn Kelly summed it up perfectly with her response: “GO F YOURSELVES, EAGLES!” And she’s absolutely right. How many of these players even know why they’re refusing the visit? Do they actually have a problem with policy, or are they just scared of being called names by blue-haired Twitter activists?
SAME. GO F YOURSELVES EAGLES. My husband is a fan so I got onboard but F this BS https://t.co/KemoC67QEu

It’s almost laughable how predictable this all is. When President Trump was in office the first time, teams like the Warriors and Eagles pulled the same stunt. But under Biden? Oh, suddenly it’s all smiles and photo ops, even though the guy can barely form a coherent sentence.
And let’s talk about the hypocrisy here. The Eagles have no problem playing in China-sponsored games where human rights abuses are rampant. They have no problem cashing checks from corporations that support actual oppression. But meeting President Trump? Oh no, that’s where they draw the line. Give me a break.
The bottom line is, this has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the left’s obsession with turning everything—even football—into a battleground for their woke agenda. The Eagles didn’t “take a stand.” They just embarrassed themselves. Again. And guess what? Most Americans are over it.
So go ahead, Eagles. Skip the White House visit. Stay home. Nobody’s going to miss you. And maybe—just maybe—next time, the American taxpayers won’t foot the bill for your next stadium upgrade.
