As violence against Tesla vehicles, showrooms, and charging stations continues to escalate across the country, Elon Musk is done playing defense — and he’s calling it exactly what it is: domestic terrorism.
Over the weekend, the so-called “Tesla Takedown” movement organized what they laughably dubbed a “Global Day of Action,” targeting more than 500 Tesla locations worldwide. Apparently, these self-styled eco-warriors and “anti-capitalist” agitators think the best way to save the planet is to burn down EV chargers and smash up American-made electric cars. You can’t make this stuff up.
Appearing on Fox News’ The Five on Tuesday, Musk laid it out in blunt terms. “This is fundamentally a case of terrorism. It’s wide-scale domestic terrorism with the purpose of intimidation, and it’s harming innocent people. It’s really terrible,” he said.
And he’s right.
Musk pointed out that while the masked degenerates tossing Molotov cocktails are easy enough to arrest, they’re just the foot soldiers. The real threat lies behind the scenes — the organizers, the funders, the so-called “generals” of this leftist war on Tesla. “We need to go after the generals,” Musk said. “That’s who we really need to go after.”
And guess what? The Trump administration is listening.
“The president has made it very clear that we’re going to go after those that are paying and organizing these violent attacks,” Musk said. “And Attorney General [Pam] Bondi has said the same thing. I believe that that is exactly what will happen.”

So far, reports of Tesla-related violence have ranged from keying and graffiti to outright arson and drive-by shootings. Charging stations have been firebombed. Tesla dealerships in cities like Portland, Austin, and Los Angeles have seen bricks through windows, tires slashed, and staff assaulted. Let’s be honest — if this were happening to any company not associated with Elon Musk and the Trump administration, the media would be breathless, calling it a hate crime spree.
But because Musk is dismantling the left’s gravy train of bureaucracy and exposing government fraud with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), he’s become the left’s top target. And the so-called “tolerant” progressives have responded with violence.
In response, the FBI has launched a full-blown domestic terrorism task force to investigate. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed on X that the Bureau is treating the Tesla attacks as domestic terrorism. And rightly so.
Burning cars and smashing windows to silence political opponents isn’t activism — it’s terrorism. And it’s time the “generals” pulling the strings are held accountable.
