Barack attended Carter’s funeral solo, and according to reports, Michelle wasn’t exactly thrilled when she saw photos of her husband having a friendly chat with Trump at the event. “Scheduling conflict” or not, that’s an eyebrow-raiser. For someone who’s been vocal about her disdain for Trump, seeing Barack play nice probably didn’t sit well.

Meanwhile, their $8.1 million D.C. mansion seems to be more of a formality than a home base for Michelle. If she’s “mostly Martha’s Vineyard,” as sources claim, it’s no wonder she’s distancing herself from the capital and its endless drama.
Adding fuel to the fire, Barack recently posted a gushy birthday tribute to Michelle on X, calling her “the love of my life” and praising her warmth and wisdom. Sweet, right? Or is it just damage control?
