Letitia James Mocked Mercilessly After Raising Fist at Post-Indictment Rally

If you ever needed a clearer picture of modern Democratic politics, just take a look at Letitia James on Monday night: fist in the air, surrounded by socialists, railing against “political prosecutions” while she herself is under indictment for bank fraud. Letitia James who’s made a career out of promising to “get” President Trump, who weaponized her office to drag him through every courtroom from Manhattan to Mar-a-Lago, is now suddenly the poster child for victims of political persecution. It’s almost poetic.

James, 66, took center stage at a rally for far-left mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani in Washington Heights. If you’re unfamiliar with Mamdani, he’s basically Bernie Sanders with a Queens zip code, a socialist who’s been pushing the Democratic Party in New York even further off the cliff. And there was Letitia, wrapped in applause, calling him her “very good friend” and “little brother,” while pretending like her federal indictment is just a minor bump in the road.

Her speech was straight out of a melodrama. “I will not bow! I will not break! I will not bend!” she shouted to the crowd. All that was missing was background music and a fog machine. She talked about summoning the strength of her ancestors, how she “fears no man,” and then went full-on resistance mode, accusing unnamed forces, clearly alluding to Trump, of “weaponizing justice for political gain.”

Let’s pause here. This is the same Letitia James who ran her campaign on going after Trump. She went on TV and bragged about it. Now that she’s the one in legal hot water, suddenly the justice system is being “weaponized”? That’s rich.

According to federal housing authorities, James allegedly lied on mortgage documents when she bought a second home in 2020, securing a $109,600 loan by falsely claiming it was a secondary residence. Prosecutors say she actually used it as a rental investment, pocketing nearly $19,000 in ill-gotten savings. That’s not exactly a paperwork mix-up, that’s fraud.

She’s now facing up to 20 years in prison. And yet, there she was Monday night, preaching about “protecting every safeguard” and “defending the rule of law.” You’d think someone accused of violating those exact principles might sit this one out.

But nope. Not in Democrat Land. In their world, being indicted is just the next step on the way to sainthood, as long as you shout loud enough and aim all your rage at Trump.
