Looks like Kamala Harris’ team is at it again—blaming everyone but themselves for their failures. This time, they’ve got their sights set on Joe Rogan, accusing him of lying about why he didn’t interview Harris before the 2024 election. But Rogan, being Rogan, isn’t having any of it.
In an excerpt from Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, a book by NBC’s Jonathan Allen and The Hill’s Amie Parnes, Harris’ team claims that Rogan’s people told them he couldn’t interview her on October 25 due to a “personal day.” Turns out, that was the same day he sat down with President Trump for a massively popular, no-holds-barred interview. Now, Harris’ camp is suggesting Rogan misled them.
Except there’s one big problem: it’s not true.
Rogan fired back on his podcast, making it clear that Trump had already been booked well in advance, and that he never misled anyone—he just didn’t tell the Harris team who was coming on that day. Imagine that, a private citizen not catering to a floundering VP’s campaign! Scandalous.
Trump, according to Rogan, was “really easy to book”—he accepted the first date offered, didn’t try to dictate the topics, and showed up ready to talk. Meanwhile, Harris’ team had their own agenda, pushing to control the discussion with topics like “social media censorship” and “marijuana.” In typical political fashion, they’re now pretending that was just a “suggestion” rather than an attempt to steer the conversation.
And it gets better—Harris’ team also claims they sent an advance team to scout Rogan’s studio before a supposed interview. Rogan, in his signature blunt style, called that out as nonsense. “That’s not true. The Trump administration did.” Meaning, while Trump’s people were actually getting things done, Harris’ camp was pretending they were taking action. Sounds familiar.
The real kicker? Harris never actually scheduled the interview. Both sides agree that she wanted Rogan to come to D.C., but Rogan refused—because Trump had come to his studio, and he wanted equal treatment. He even offered to interview Harris the same night as Trump, but no one from her team ever made a commitment.
Now, in true Democrat fashion, Harris’ people are playing victim, claiming Rogan “screwed her over” to favor Trump. But as Rogan put it, “I have receipts.” He’s got a list of conversations proving his side of the story, and if history tells us anything, he’s not afraid to lay them out.
Bottom line: This isn’t about Joe Rogan. It’s about Kamala Harris making excuses for her failures—just like she always does.
