The scandal surrounding the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt on President Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, continues to grow despite the mainstream media’s efforts to downplay the event. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) warned that the public would be “shocked” by the failures within the Secret Service.
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has since revealed further shocking details, including that the lead Secret Service agent on duty had failed training exams and was known for poor performance. Despite these red flags, former Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle, reportedly close to the Biden administration, promoted the agent anyway.
Hawley accused acting director Ronald Rowe of covering up the truth, claiming Rowe is refusing to provide Congress with critical documents regarding the attack. Hawley also suggested that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is blocking the agency from complying with document requests, hinting at a possible cover-up.
On Jesse Watters’ show, Hawley expressed frustration at the lack of transparency, describing the security at Trump’s rally as “undermanned, understaffed, and lacking experienced personnel.” Watters echoed Hawley’s concerns, suggesting that a larger cover-up is at play, potentially orchestrated by the Biden administration to bury the scandal.
Now a whistleblower alleges that the lead advance agent for President Trump's entire trip to Butler, PA had failed training exams when she first joined the Secret Service.
And the Secret Service Director won't even level with what's going on here. It's absurd. pic.twitter.com/Zu0BNvOQsL

Now I’m told the Department of Homeland Security is pressuring the Secret Service not to comply with document requests by Congress about the Trump assassination attempt.

Many are now hoping that Senator Blumenthal’s promise to reveal the full truth will materialize, and that Congress will thoroughly investigate the failures within the Secret Service. Should this scandal be swept under the rug, trust in the federal government, particularly under Democratic control, could be further eroded.
The stakes are high, as this controversy touches on not only the safety of a former president but also the integrity of critical government agencies. If this incident is not fully exposed and addressed, it may confirm fears of a growing lack of accountability in federal institutions.
I used to think Congress’s request/demands had some weight to it but during this Administration it means nothing. Everyone ignores their subpoenas or requests, and nothing comes from their snubbing Congress.
