A college student from Missouri, Riley Strain, has gone missing under mysterious circumstances in Nashville, Tennessee. This incident is currently under investigation.
Riley Strain, a 22-year-old student, was last seen on Broadway in Nashville after a night out last Friday. Reports indicate he was asked to leave Luke Bryan’s bar, Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance have raised concerns.
The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) is probing allegations that the bar may have served Riley an excessive amount of alcohol. This is a misdemeanor crime as per state law, which prohibits serving alcohol to visibly intoxicated individuals.
Riley was visiting Nashville with his fraternity and got separated from his group after being ejected from the bar. He intended to return to his friends at their hotel but never arrived, leading to a comprehensive search for him. His friends reported him missing when they were unable to locate him via Snapchat location.
Surveillance footage shows Riley near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Church Street after leaving the bar. Despite falling, he managed to get up and continue walking.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management are searching the streets and nearby Cumberland riverbank because Riley might have accidentally fallen into the water. Attempts to track Riley’s movements through his phone and Apple Watch data have not yielded any results so far. Local hospitals and jails also report no leads.
Riley’s last known location was between Gay Street and James Robertson Parkway, according to officials, who also mentioned that two local homeless individuals reported seeing Riley in the area on the night he disappeared.
The country music star and bar owner Luke Bryan has expressed his concern publicly and offered prayers for Riley’s safe return. His establishment is cooperating with the Metro Nashville Police Department by providing security camera footage and any other relevant information to aid in the search.
