Ah, the cracks in Democrat paradise are starting to show. The feud between Kamala Harris and Joe Biden’s teams has hit a fever pitch, and it’s getting messier than a soap opera. Axios reports that staffers from both camps are now at each other’s throats, as the Biden and Harris teams are openly clashing over strategy, staffing, and, of course, good old-fashioned ego.
It all started when Biden threw Kamala under the bus by backing none other than Florida’s Ron DeSantis. Apparently, Biden seems to believe that DeSantis shouldn’t bother taking Harris’s calls, and Team Harris wasn’t thrilled. From there, things spiraled. According to Axios, one of Harris’s loyalists even accused Team Biden of being “too much in their feelings.” Sounds like we’re back in grade school!
The Harris camp has also been pressing the White House to give her more staff to handle her growing responsibilities. But Biden’s team seems to be dragging its feet, perhaps to make things harder for the VP. Not that surprising, considering the lingering resentment. Many of Biden’s aides reportedly still feel burned by him being sidelined in favor of Harris on the campaign trail. That lingering bitterness is now spilling over into petty turf wars and squabbles over who gets to call the shots.
The drama reached new heights when Biden decided to hold a press conference, his first from the White House press briefing room, to tout some dubious job numbers. This conveniently upstaged Harris, who was out in Detroit trying to sell the public on her administration’s supposedly heroic role in ending the port strike. Talk about stealing her thunder. Biden’s timing couldn’t have been more deliberate, and Team Harris knows it. One Harris ally griped to Axios that the White House doesn’t seem to have anyone who actually considers how these moves affect the campaign.
Now, it’s not just about who gets the spotlight. Apparently, there’s a battle over media loyalty, with Team Harris edging out Biden’s TV loyalists for airtime. It’s a slap in the face to Biden’s old guard, who always believed Harris was the less electable choice, a point they’re likely still grumbling about after Biden’s less-than-stellar debate showing against Trump.
Republicans may be enjoying the popcorn, but it’s no time to sit back. The Democrat drama may be playing out on center stage, but that doesn’t mean they’ve run out of tricks. With Election Day on the horizon, conservatives must rally for a win so decisive it can’t be tampered with. Democrats are in disarray, but they’ll pull every trick in the book to make up for it come Election Day. Let’s stay sharp and ensure they don’t get the chance.
