It’s the question that every American with a functioning brain (which already disqualifies most of the D.C. press corps) has been asking for years: Who was really running the country while Joe Biden was stumbling through his presidency?
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is demanding answers. In a scorching letter to the DOJ’s Inspector General, Bailey is calling for an investigation into whether Biden’s aides knowingly hid his cognitive decline in order to push through radical policies without a competent commander-in-chief signing off on them. If true, that would make much of Biden’s executive agenda legally void—a point Bailey doesn’t mince words on.
“By now, Biden’s mental decline is famous,” Bailey writes. “Under the 25th Amendment, his inability to make decisions should have meant a succession of power.” But instead of allowing for a transfer of leadership, it appears Biden’s inner circle hid his cognitive failures so they could govern without accountability. And it makes perfect sense—how else do you explain an administration that pushed policies even further left than its own party was prepared for?
The evidence is piling up.
House Speaker Mike Johnson recently revealed that Biden had no idea he had signed an executive order limiting liquefied natural gas exports—a policy that devastated Louisiana’s economy. “I didn’t do that,” Biden allegedly told Johnson, who had to inform the President of the United States that, yes, he did in fact sign the order. The reality? Someone else was making the decisions.
Even Biden’s spending patterns raise red flags. One particularly egregious case? A $2 billion EPA grant funneled to an organization run by none other than failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. That’s not just reckless—that’s a progressive wish list item quietly sneaked through while Biden was too busy reading from a teleprompter (and often failing at that).
And then there were Biden’s final days in office, when he suddenly issued a wave of radical pardons, including one for his son Hunter Biden and every federal inmate on death row. Are we really supposed to believe an 82-year-old president battling cognitive decline made all of these last-minute calls himself? Or is it more likely that his left-wing handlers simply used him as a rubber stamp for their own agenda?
Bailey’s question is the question: Who was really running the country these last few years? The American people deserve answers—and if this corruption is as deep as it looks, someone needs to be held accountable.
