Even by Squad standards, this one was over the top. Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) went on a fiery rant over the weekend, attacking President Trump and accusing him of being an “enemy” of the United States. Her comments, made during an interview on MSNBC, have already sparked backlash, with some conservatives calling for her to be censured by Congress.
“As far as I am concerned, he is an enemy to the United States,” Crockett declared. “He swore an oath just like the rest of us, but right now, when you are literally putting us at risk because you want to convince your followers that you should be a dictator too, that you should never leave the White House?”
She added, “I don’t really understand what is going on, and I don’t know what it’s going to take to get people to wake up.”
Jasmine Crockett labeled Trump as an enemy of America while simultaneously saying she doesn’t understand anything that’s going on.
She’s really this dumb.

Crockett’s remarks sound eerily familiar to those of her Squad colleague Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), who infamously referred to Trump as the “occupant of the White House” throughout his first term. Now that he’s back, their criticisms seem more like old talking points than anything meaningful.
And the “wake up” rhetoric? That echoes Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who last month suggested that Americans are simply too stupid to understand politics. “These people are just idiots,” Omar said on MSNBC. “The fact that these people are allowed to say the most ridiculous things tells you that the dumbing of the United States has arrived, because how else did we get the Trump presidency again?”
These progressive outbursts may get headlines, but they’re doing little to help their movement. The Squad’s influence is shrinking, and their base is losing patience. Reps. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) were both defeated in Democratic primaries last year, bringing the group’s numbers down to seven. Meanwhile, MSNBC’s ratings are cratering, forcing the network to cut ties with longtime host Joy Reid and lay off much of her staff in a desperate bid to stay afloat.
Crockett, for her part, is no stranger to grandstanding. She’s known for picking fights with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and once even called her a “butch” during a heated committee hearing. But her antics aren’t winning her any favors within her own party—she recently lost a bid for a key Democratic leadership position to Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI).
At this point, it seems the only thing the Squad can do is yell louder. But with their influence fading and their audience shrinking, fewer and fewer people are listening.
Does anybody in their right mind even give a damn what the idiots of the “Squad” have to say? Personally, I’d like to see at least a couple of them deported… all would be better!
