Deep State Panic as Rogue Prosecutors Leak Details of FBI “Burn Bag” Cover-Up to Protect Comey

So here we go again. The Deep State’s favorite tactic, sabotage by anonymous leaks, is back in play, and this time it’s aimed at shutting down a DOJ investigation into the FBI’s alleged destruction of classified documents to protect none other than James Comey. That’s right, the holier-than-thou former FBI Director who somehow always ends up on the right side of a media love fest, no matter how many shady decisions he’s tied to.

According to multiple reports, including from Fox News and now The New York Times (which only seems to “break” news when it serves the establishment), career prosecutors in the Western District of Virginia are leaking like a busted pipe. Why? Because they’re furious that Trump-appointed investigators are digging into whether Biden’s FBI secretly torched Russia hoax documents to cover for Comey and CIA Director John Brennan.

Let’s back this up. Kash Patel, a former chief of staff at the Pentagon and key Trump intelligence adviser, reportedly uncovered thousands of documents in FBI “burn bags” stashed in a secret room at FBI headquarters. One of the most explosive finds was the classified annex to the Durham Report, the very one that outlines the intelligence used to kick off the Trump-Russia collusion farce in the first place.

These weren’t old lunch receipts. These were intelligence documents tied directly to the deep-state fabrication of the Russia narrative, and they were allegedly headed for destruction. You know, so no one could ever review them, trace back decisions, or hold anyone accountable.

And what’s the response from the career bureaucrats in the DOJ? Not demands for accountability. Not concern about abuse of power. No, they’re leaking to The New York Times to say charges aren’t “warranted.” They’re also throwing shade at Kash Patel, accusing him of running the investigation at the direction of himself, as if that’s somehow illegal or unusual. That’s classic D.C. swamp behavior: mock the messenger, ignore the message.

To make matters worse, Trump-appointed interim U.S. Attorney Todd Gilbert was reportedly pushed out for refusing to bow to internal pressure to protect one of their own. Now that someone new is in charge, the leaking has intensified because the DOJ’s internal operatives would rather nuke their own credibility than allow a real investigation to touch their sacred cow, Comey.

Let’s be clear. If burn bags filled with Russia hoax evidence were found under a Republican administration, CNN would be running countdown clocks. But since it’s Comey, Brennan, and Biden’s DOJ under the microscope, the default response is denial, delay, and a full-court press to kill the case quietly.

Nothing to see here? Give us a break. The real crime isn’t just in those burn bags. It’s in how far the establishment will go to protect its own.
