Chuck Schumer Loses It, Calls for ‘Forceful’ Actions to Be Taken

It’s almost impressive how fast Democrat leaders can pivot from “defend democracy” to “rise up against the government” the minute one of their own gets caught breaking the law. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer went on MSNBC this weekend and basically encouraged the radical left to take to the streets after New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted on federal mortgage fraud and false statement charges. Letitia James…the one who spent years weaponizing her office to persecute President Trump is now facing her own day in court, and Schumer’s response isn’t to defend the rule of law, it’s to incite chaos.

Schumer, speaking with Al Sharpton of all people, claimed that President Trump’s Department of Justice had become a “personal attack dog” and accused Trump of “tyranny.” It’s laughable. The Democrats spent years cheering as Joe Biden’s DOJ and local Democrat prosecutors like James and Fani Willis abused their power to drag President Trump through endless investigations and politically motivated trials. Now that the tables have turned and one of their golden idols is in handcuffs, they’re suddenly clutching their pearls about “weaponized justice.”

Here’s a reminder for Schumer: Letitia James didn’t get indicted for baking cookies. She’s charged under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 for bank fraud and 18 U.S.C. Section 1014 for making false statements to a financial institution. That’s serious stuff. But Schumer doesn’t seem to care about the facts. Instead, he used his MSNBC platform to call for Americans to “forcefully rise up” against what he calls tyranny. Coming from the top Democrat in the Senate, that’s dangerous talk—and it sounds a lot like a wink and a nod to Antifa, the same far-left militants currently attacking federal law enforcement in Chicago and Portland.

President Trump fired back at Schumer’s nonsense by reminding everyone that the previous U.S. Attorney, Erik Seibert, wasn’t some martyr of justice, he was a Biden ally posing as a Republican. “He didn’t quit, I fired him,” Trump said, exposing the corrupt revolving door between the DOJ and Democrat politics.

This is what desperation looks like. Schumer and the Democrats are watching their legal house of cards collapse, and they’re panicking. They can’t defend the corruption, so they’re trying to ignite outrage. But Americans see through it. The real “threat to democracy” isn’t President Trump enforcing the law—it’s Schumer’s party openly calling for mob rule.
