BREAKING: The U.S. Department of Education ‘DOES NOT EXIST’, Has Been ‘Eliminated’!

In what may be one of the most monumental achievements of President Trump’s administration, the U.S. Department of Education may have been officially eliminated. The bloated, ineffective federal bureaucracy that has plagued America’s education system for decades could be gone.

And in true Trump fashion, the announcement wasn’t made through some dull press conference. Elon Musk, head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), casually dropped the bombshell on social media in response to a rant from none other than Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL). Frost, along with Rep. Maxine Waters, had recently thrown a tantrum trying to storm the now-defunct Department of Education building, upset that DOGE had access while they didn’t.

Frost whined on X:
“ELON IS ALLOWED IN THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. NOT YOUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES OR STUDENTS & PARENTS. I WILL BE BACK.”

Elon’s epic reply?
“What is this ‘Department of Education’ you keep talking about? I just checked and it doesn’t exist.”

Mic. Dropped.

Let’s put this in perspective: Trump promised to dismantle the Department of Education, arguing that education should be handled at the state and local level—not dictated by power-hungry bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. And unlike career politicians who make empty promises, Trump delivered.

The Department of Education, established in 1979, has done little more than waste taxpayer dollars, push leftist indoctrination, and burden schools with useless regulations. Its elimination represents a massive victory for parents, teachers, and students who believe in local control over education.

Of course, the Left is losing its mind. They don’t care about student outcomes—they care about controlling the curriculum and pushing their radical agenda. That’s why they’re more outraged about Elon Musk running DOGE than they ever were about actual corruption within the Department of Education.

This move also sends a message: competence over identity politics. Trump didn’t hire some DEI-approved bureaucrat to handle the job. He picked Elon Musk—a man known for getting things done.

As a parent, this is the kind of leadership America needs. No more federal overreach. No more government-run indoctrination camps. Just real education, tailored to the needs of local communities.

Goodbye, Department of Education. You won’t be missed.
