Breaking: Karoline Leavitt Humiliates Hack Reporter with EPIC One Liner

Karoline Leavitt just handed the mainstream media another lesson in what happens when you bring a butter knife to a gunfight. On Monday, the White House Press Secretary lit up a HuffPost reporter with the kind of savage efficiency that only someone sick of biased nonsense can pull off.

Here’s what went down: S.V. Dáte, a Huffington Post “journalist” (we’re using that word loosely here), texted Leavitt with a smug little question about why President Trump would consider holding peace talks with Zelensky and Putin in Budapest. Now, remember, this is after Trump reportedly held serious talks with Zelensky and European leaders at the White House in August, signaling once again that he’s doing what Joe Biden never could…leading.

But Dáte, as usual, wasn’t interested in that. He sent Leavitt a self-important question: Why Budapest? Doesn’t the president understand the historical significance of the 1994 Budapest Memorandum? Cue the dramatic music. The implication was crystal clear: Dáte was trying to paint President Trump as either ignorant of history or insensitive to Ukraine’s feelings all wrapped in the kind of passive-aggressive tone you’d expect from a liberal activist pretending to be a reporter.

Leavitt’s response? Brutal. When asked who suggested Budapest, she replied: “Your mom did.” Ice cold. Naturally, Dáte replied with faux outrage: “Is this funny to you?” And that’s when Leavitt dropped the hammer.

“It’s funny to me that you actually consider yourself a journal,” she said, adding that he’s a “far-left hack who nobody takes seriously,” not even his colleagues. And honestly, she’s not wrong. Just scroll through the guy’s X feed, it reads like a live blog of MSNBC fan fiction.

But Leavitt didn’t just clap back privately. She posted the exchange on X, saying Dáte “bombards my phone with Democrat talking points.” She called him out for what he is — an activist, not a reporter. And good on her. These so-called journalists have been playing partisan games for years and hiding behind press credentials to do it.

Even White House Communications Director Steven Cheung got in on the fun, allegedly replying to the same question with the same three words: “Your mom.” Brutal, simple, and deserved.

This whole saga is just another reminder that the Trump White House isn’t going to play patty-cake with a media complex that’s been hostile from day one. They’re not afraid to treat unserious people accordingly. Maybe if the press spent more time asking real questions and less time acting like Biden’s PR team, they wouldn’t get clowned like this. But until then, pass the popcorn.
