Nearly 6,000 probationary workers at the Department of Agriculture—yes, the same people Trump rightfully fired—were reinstated after Biden holdover Hampton Dellinger and a couple of Obama-appointed judges decided they know better than the President of the United States.
The Trump administration made the obvious and necessary decision to fire thousands of probationary workers at the USDA. These weren’t career employees with decades of service; they were probationary—meaning they were still on trial to prove they were fit for the job. Trump’s team determined they weren’t, so they were let go. That’s how hiring works in the real world, but apparently, in the bloated, dysfunctional world of the federal government, it’s unacceptable to hold people accountable.
Now enter Hampton Dellinger, a Biden lackey who should’ve been gone weeks ago. Trump fired him last month, but Obama-appointed Judge Amy Berman Jackson—one of the worst activist judges in D.C.—stepped in and reinstated him. Luckily, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed her nonsense ruling, and Dellinger is finally out. But before he left, he teamed up with another corrupt Biden holdover, Cathy Harris, to block Trump from carrying out mass terminations at the USDA.
And guess what? Harris was also fired by Trump, only to be reinstated by yet another Obama judge—Judge Contreras—who just granted her a permanent injunction to keep her in power. Are you seeing the pattern here? Every time Trump tries to clean up the deep state, some leftist judge waves a magic wand and says, “Nope, sorry, you’re stuck with these people.”
So now, thanks to this tag-team effort of swamp creatures, nearly 6,000 fired workers are back on the job for at least 45 days while an “investigation” is conducted. The Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), which is supposed to handle complaints from federal employees, is being weaponized to protect Biden’s people. And let’s not forget—the Office of Special Counsel, which prosecutes cases before the MSPB, is fully in on this scheme. Harris and Dellinger worked together to push this reinstatement through, all while pretending it’s about “fairness” and “due process.”
The reality? This is just another example of the left using lawfare to undermine President Trump. They’ll do whatever it takes to keep the deep state alive and block him from draining the swamp. But they won’t stop him. If anything, this just proves why he needs a second term—to fire these people again and make sure they stay gone this time.
