But instead of just letting the case proceed as it should, he’s taking a detour—ordering an investigation into why President Trump’s DOJ decided to drop the charges.
Now, let’s break this down. The Justice Department, under President Trump, decided to drop the case against Adams. Seems pretty straightforward, right? Well, not for the leftist judicial activists who are still foaming at the mouth over anything related to Trump. Judge Ho, instead of respecting the DOJ’s decision, wants to dig deeper, as if dropping charges against a Democrat is somehow suspicious. Meanwhile, these same people had no problem when Biden’s DOJ dropped investigations into Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton, or anyone else in their corrupt little club.
Here’s where things get even more ridiculous: when the DOJ ordered federal prosecutors to drop the Adams case, the Acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Danielle Sassoon, threw a tantrum and resigned. And like a true left-wing martyr, she wasn’t alone—several other prosecutors also quit in protest. Now, forgive me for asking the obvious, but when did DOJ lawyers get the right to just ignore orders from their superiors? Last time I checked, the Justice Department isn’t a democracy. It’s supposed to follow the chain of command, and if you don’t like it, there’s the door. Which, thankfully, Sassoon and her little rebellion took.
Then came Emil Bove, the Acting Deputy Attorney General under President Trump, who had to lay down the law like a boss. He called in the remaining Public Integrity lawyers, told them they had one hour to comply with the directive to drop the charges, or they could all find new jobs. And guess what? At least one prosecutor finally saw reason and did what they were supposed to do.
But that wasn’t good enough for Judge Ho. Nope, he wants an investigation—because the DOJ dropping charges against a Democrat must be some grand conspiracy, while Biden’s DOJ targeting Trump in multiple politically motivated prosecutions is apparently just “justice at work.”
This is the kind of judicial activism that is destroying faith in our legal system. When the left doesn’t like the outcome, they just find a friendly judge to intervene. But when President Trump and his supporters get railroaded by partisan prosecutors, we’re all just supposed to accept it. It’s a complete joke, and people are waking up to it.
